Lehigh Valley Music Awards 12

"Me being a "first-timer" at the LVMA"s , I was very impressed with the night. So great to see so much talent in one location and to know we have it here within "our valley". Great job Ian and Gloria, in bringing the night together at a great location.I was there as an observer/fan/photographer not being blessed with the musical talent of so many there. I do feel a part of the musical community, though in a different capacity.
Looking forward to many great shows in the coming year, thanks for a SUPER 2008!!!! "

"Thank you Ian and Gloria for a night we will not forget. We had the honor to perform early that night. Having so many friends and family around us was amazing. In our eyes, this years awards toped them all. As most of us in entertainment work the same nights and hours, we seldom have a chance to get out to enjoy other performers so, we always look forward to the LV Music Awards. To be honest, we weren't sure we'd be able to stay long after dropping off the toys and canned goods but, the kindness and warmth we received gave us strength and the sight of musicians enjoying each others company and talent, warmed our hearts and made it easy to stay. All the acts were great and weather it was simply through your music, a hug, kind caring words or by just sharing a little bit of time with us, all of you gave us comfort and helped ease a little of the unbearable pain we felt from a traumatic event we experienced the night before. We are so glad we decided to go. Bless you all for helping us through and also for the three wonderful awards you honored Tommy with. His heart was especially toughed because he knew and appreciated the fact that he received them through the votes of his peers, which meant more to him than words can express. Thank you again, for everything.

Thank you very much for your invitation to perform last night. I often forget the feeling of community that exists within the local music scene. I spend a lot of time outside of it, so it was really great to feel welcomed there. Plus, I was able to see many "old guard" friends from the ancient open mic days of the Bally Hotel! That was terrific.
