LVMA Preshow: Serene Greene
Serene Green is a growing fixture in the eastern Pennsylvania bluegrass community. Performances include original songs, traditional bluegrass songs and fiddle tunes, and other unexpected favorites in the bluegrass style. Their sound emphasizes instrumental prowess, soaring 3-part harmonies, and captivating live performances, earning them the “Outstanding Bluegrass Fusion Band in 2015” award at the 17th Annual Lehigh Valley Music Awards.
National Anthem: Lou Franco
A past LVMA winner, Lou can be seen solo, duo or in his trio. For Classic Rock aficionados, the Lou Franco Project is a must see! This power trio of extremely talented musicians performs a searing and wide ranging repertoire of musical favorites from Zep to Floyd to King Crimson.
Nyke Van Wyk & Genevieve Gillespie
Violinist, performer, composer, producer, & instructor, and multi award winner. Can be seen performing with the Craig Thatcher Duo and Band,He has traveled around the world entertaining with his violin talents.
Genevieve (fiddle, vocals, dance) has been pursuing her passion for Irish music and dance since the age of five when she was first introduced to the fiddle. Growing up in a family of traditional musicians, Gillespie and her sisters traveled internationally for competitive music and dance championships until the age of 15 when she founded award-winning, Philadelphia-based Celtic band, Burning Bridget Cleary.
Another Day Dawns
Another Day Dawns is a hard rock/alternative rock band. A.D.D. has played everywhere from Sands Event Center, Penns Peak, venues in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and were invited to Anaheim’s yearly NAMM convention in California!! They were last years LVMA winner in the Rock Category.
Lee Del Ray & Charlie Brown
Lee has been described as a ferocious mix of the three Kings and Albert Collins with his own style and grace who can approach a slow blues remenisent of the late Michael Bloomfiled. Always taking his time and squeezing every ounce out of every note. They were this years winners of the 2nd Story Blues Alliance, IBC Competition.
The lead singer of Charlie Brown and the Notorious Groove Band, can be seen entertaing folks throughout the Valley. Not only is he talented but you never see him without a smile on his face. Charlie has been the recipient of many awards in the past.
Jordyn Kenzie, Chelsea Lyn Meyers & Scott Marshall

Jordyn Kenzie, was last years winner of Discover Lehigh Valley & LVMA’s New artist of the year. She is a Singer/Songwriter that loves making music with her guitar. She is wise beyond her years when it comes to writing lyrics.
Inspired by Green Day, Chelsea began her musical career as the lead vocalist and guitarist for Lehigh Valley’s pop-punk band, 2AM, at the age of 13. While in high school, Chelsea wrote and recorded her own songs with 2AM.. Chelsea began her solo career as a singer-songwriter and started a non-profit organization called Power Chords: Music Mentors for Our Youth. She now is one of the Directors of Listen Live Music. She has won numerous awards over the years.
Multi Award-winning singer, songwriter, and recording artist Scott Marshall hails from the Appalachian hills of eastern Pennsylvania. From his earliest memories, music was the center of Scott’s life. Influenced by numerous genres: County, Bluegrass, Blues, Rock, and Gospel, Scott Marshall has developed a style that is as much his own as it is all American. It doesn’t matter what label you try to put on it, the bottom line is that it’s hand-forged, heart-filled, music with a little something for everyone.
The Large Fowerheads
’60s Sunshine Pop, British Invasion, Motown & Psychedelic Rock, is what you will hear from the multi award winning band. They certainly know how to get people dancing in their seats and in the aisles.The Large Flowerheads can be seen entertaining the people of the Valley at large festivals to standing room only venues.
Desire & Tommy Zito
Desire is a vocal harmony singing group with special emphasis on oldies classics, doo-wop, acapella and street corner harmonies.
Tommy Zito, AKA the Piano Man, has been performing for 60 years. He has received many awards and 5 years ago joined the LVMA’s elite list of Lifetime Achievement Award Recipients.
Hector Rosado, an accomplished percussionist, has toured with the best in the business. He has traveled nationwide, as well as world tours with music titans such as David Burne, Dave Valentine, and the legendary Tito Puente. The list goes on and on.In addition to performing, Hector has recorded for Warner Bros. and has created tracks for “video Jams” as seen on the BET Network. Hector Rosado also composes music for bands and soundtracks.
Dan DeChellis w/M.I.M.E.
Dan DeChellis has been described as “a pianist with plenty to say, covering a broad emotional spectrum while creating music that speaks clearly, succinctly and directly to the mind, body, and soul.” Dan DeChellis is focused on direct and melodic music that connects to his audience in the straightest line possible. He is concerned with making music that engages not only the well versed jazz listener but the non jazz fan as well.
Moravian Improvisational Music Ensemble is a select jazz ensemble of six to ten members performing unique repertoire that encompasses a wide variety of styles. Members of the ensemble compose the repertoire, which emphasizes extended improvisation. All the members attend Moravian College in Bethlehem.
